What is Season 1 in the Realities of 2026?

For a huge mass of veterans, this very patch became the starting point for real hardcore guild content. Season 1 is a monumental milestone in the game's development, where the harsh grind of early versions finally received a worthy goal. There is no overloaded Master Skill Tree, third wings and socket equipment are completely absent. In 2026, servers of the first chronicles thrive steadily thanks to a strong community of oldfags who crave honest, rock-solid classics, but with full-fledged clan wars and working global events.

History and the Grand Release of Castle Siege

The biggest breakthrough of the first season from Webzen is the introduction of the Valley of Loren location and the large-scale castle siege mechanics. Before this, guilds simply had no clear endgame entertainment besides minor skirmishes at mob spawns. With the advent of Castle Siege, large-scale politics, powerful alliances, and brutal betrayals emerged in the game. In addition to the siege, the developers rolled out Crywolf Battalion — a global event with General Balgass's attack, successful defense of which required coordinated work of EE (Energy Elf) at the altars and tough defense from DLs and BKs.

Features of Season 1 Servers: Old School Balance

On these chronicles, the game still remains a harsh test for your mouse and patience. The legal bot MU Helper is absent as a class here, so leveling requires either personal presence at the spot or a harmless third-party clicker. The server economy is held on iron pillars: Zen, Jewel of Bless, and Jewel of Soul. Any dropped Excellent gear with Damage Decrease or Reflect option instantly turns into super-liquid currency.

Mechanics: Chaos Castle Meat Grinder and Class Development

It was in the first season that players massively discovered the Chaos Castle event — that very brutal survival arena where everyone looks visually the same, and the floor treacherously collapses into the abyss. The maximum luxury here confidently remains second wings (Wings of Dragon, Spirits, Soul, etc.) with Ignore Defense option. There are only five classes: Dark Knight, Dark Wizard, Fairy Elf, Magic Gladiator, and the recently added Dark Lord. No overloaded Summoners or Rage Fighters in the meta yet, so PvP balance is maximally transparent.

Who Are Season 1 Servers Made For?

This is the ideal client for party players and hardcore solo wolves who know how to calculate stats and love the classic mathematical lore of Mu. Season 1 hits great for those who love dominating spots in Tarkan or Aida, controlling Golden Dragon respawns, and coordinating alliance actions in voice chat (Discord). If you genuinely miss the times when a precise Ancient set like Anubis or Hyon decided the duel outcome, not pumped-up Combat Power with a pentagram — boldly start on Season 1.

FAQ: Questions from Returning Fighters

Who is in the total meta for castle siege in Season 1 now?

Traditionally, BK (Blade Knight) with twisted slash and proper gear lives the longest and clears the throne solo. But Dark Lord, thanks to the horse (Dark Horse) and Fire Scream skill, deals colossal AoE damage and shifts enemy packs with stamp.

How to earn top gear from scratch here?

The main profit comes from regular Chaos Castle farming (loot Bless and Luckies), hunting at Golden Invasion spawns for blue boxes, and round-the-clock ticket farming in Blood Castle and Devil Square.

Can you get or craft third wings here?

No, in the first season, third wings technically do not exist in the game. Maximum — second wings, crafted in the chaos machine with mandatory addition of a feather (Loch's Feather).

Are there grand-resets on fresh Season 1 servers?

Again, it depends on the specific free server build. Originally, Season 1 had neither resets nor grand-resets, but now admins steadily add this easy system to retain lazy online on low rates.

What about high-end weapons? Bone Blade and such added?

Yes, top level 380 weapons (including legendary Bone Blade) are already in the drop, but getting them from top bosses in Kanturu Core is no easy task. Plus, to equip them, you'll have to sit tight on long-term farming.
